You have a calling in life. Do you want to know what it is? You can begin to discover God’s plan and purpose for your life when you understand this simple concept:
“All of life is spiritual—including your interests, talents, and career. Your responsibility is to develop all you are and all you possess, for God’s glory and the advancement of His Kingdom.”
The Christian faith is not limited to evangelism or just your “personal walk with Jesus.” Since Jesus Christ is Creator and Lord of all, then every area of life and thought must serve His purpose and bring Him glory. This especially includes what He’s deposited into you.
In other words, going to church, praying, or being on the mission field is not “more spiritual” than becoming a better engineer, artist, teacher, scientist, or business leader. All of life is spiritual, and you can fulfill God’s purpose in history by simply being the best at what He’s called you to do.
Therefore, your personal interests, talents, and skills are an important indicator of what God’s plan is for your life.
What is Greatness?
You’re called to greatness, and by that we don’t intend anything prideful, arrogant, or untrue. We believe God has placed greatness in you, and we define greatness as the full expression of being the person He created you to be and accomplishing everything He made you capable of achieving.
Greatness is found in living intentionally and sacrificially for Christ and His Kingdom. By doing so, you can step out of the darkness of mediocrity and into the light of God’s best for your life.
Does God Have a Purpose for Your Life?
Nothing that God has made is without purpose, and that includes you. Even though you may not specifically know your purpose in life, that doesn’t mean your life is without purpose. So long as you are developing your talents, abilities, and interests for the higher cause of the Kingdom of God, you’re living for the greatest purpose.
The more you develop those areas that are unique to you, the more you’re living the full life God intended. That’s where Called to Greatness comes in. We want to help you discover, build, and start living a life of greatness.
What is Called to Greatness?
Called to Greatness is a ministry committed to equipping you to fulfill your calling in life through encouragement, fellowship, and discipleship. We are a group of passionate followers of Jesus Christ working together to help young men and women discover their unique gifts, live life to the fullest, and become everything God intends them to be.
