I love that passage for I know that I am nothing without that undeserved gift called grace.
Thank you for sharing that word today. I needed the reminder.
May the Lord bless and keep you, may his face and his grace shine upon you.
Peace,
Brady

I wonder how often do we look back and see how we are living off of the legacies left by the men and women that came before us? They never saw us, but many lived and died to see Christ's Kingdom come into our lives. And we will never know many of their names and faces. Yet their lives were not without effect. Think about it - do you know the name of the person who led the person to Jesus who led the person to Jesus who led you to Jesus? I don't. In only a couple generations, we will be those nameless people. But what a great honor and privilege that we get to live lives that matter and make an eternal impact for our Father!

The idea of generational transfer humbles and excites me all at the same time. It humbles me because I realize how very important the choices I make everyday are to not only me, but my children's children's children's world. It's exciting because that means I get a chance, everyday, to build onto God's Kingdom, to lay a foundation for the people yet to exist and to pass on what has been passed onto me. In doing so, I become a stepping stone, if you will. I become a beautiful thread in the tapestry that is God's epic story, picking up where others' threads have run out and going until mine will go no more, interweaving with other beautiful threads along the way. It's thrilling just to think that we get to be a part of it and equally as thrilling to actually live it!

I just checked out your new website. I think the promo video is awesome. Know you've been really busy. I'm ready to schedule camp for next summer. Hope June 6 and 7th will work for you. I've contacted Bethany so should hear soon. Glad to see your video on KUSports over camp in Lawrence Tues. They never are long enough. Have a good week and keep in touch. Make sure you let me know if there's anything you'll be needing help with. Love to come up and do that. I'm forever grateful. Joan

Great article Dan. My grandmother would be proud of your conclusion, because that is exactly what she instilled in me as a child and through adulthood. Whatever you do; do it in a way that is pleasing and honorable to God. This applied to homework, cleaning, speaking, giving, sharing, etc. Thanks for the reminder and I will be sure to pass this on to Brooklyn and others around me; especially the "shy kids."

Thanks Jon and Ryan! Our God is great and the transformation that He brings into our lives is freedom. Freedom from ourselves and the chains of sin.
