Education: Bachelor of Science in Journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication.Marcus was born in Kansas City, MO and grew up in Lexington, KY; he calls them both home. He was lead to KU after visiting the campus and feeling called to come and pursue his undergraduate career as a Jayhawk.
He made Jesus Christ the Lord of his life after encountering him on the KU campus. A fraternity brother of his lead him through a one-on-one Bible study that lead him to realize the Father heart of God and a purpose worth giving his life to fulfill. He has been delighted, since then, to join other twenty somethings in giving their time and talent to fulfilling The Great Commission.
Marcus was awarded the Tanaka Miller and Frank R. Burge scholarships. He has also had extensive experience for his young age. For example he did an internship with MediaCom, in New York.
